Time to revamp your LinkedIn profile?
I was an 'early adopter' of LinkedIn, and my profile - as you'd expect - has been through several revisions. Nevertheless, there's always more that can be done to improve these things, so I was intrigued to find an old post by Guy Kawasaki based on advice he received from LinkedIn's inhouse design team. The post is...

... here. Even though the post was written a while ago, the advice is very relevant. Moreover, much of the advice isjust as relevant to preparing a good CV. So it's well worth popping over to Guy's blog if you're in the process of preparing any sort of profile or bio.

Guy's article is a very useful read although a bit old, like you said, and LinkedIn keeps changing. I just blogged about the recent LinkedIn Applications launch. The initial crop are all very simple offerings but they can still make a big impact in improving brand reinforcement via your profile.
