Second, notice that the graphics are more than just a scanned holiday snap cropped to only show my head. There's a lot of information in the graphics, just as there would be on a web site.
Third, notice that the first page users are taken to when they click like gives lots of value. There's the book, and a series of videos of interest to my audience
Fourth, notice that the videos are numbered, but aren't sequential. This is my way of letting you know that there are a lot more videos out there!
So there you have it:
- a call to action
- a quarter pounder
- lots of value and the promise of more
- and an in-built way to stay in touch with people after they "like" the page
All in one Facebook page.
That's how to take Facebook out of the realms of "I just left Starbucks. Heading to the video store" and "join my Mafia family" and take it into the sphere of business
