If you've read more than a couple of my posts, you'll have picked up on my love of books. I am an avid reader, particularly in the areas of branding, business and personal development, and I've decided to share the benefits of my extensive reading with my subscribers.
One way I can do that is through book reviews, and I will continue to put up reviews of new (and not so new) books that catch my eye.
The other is by setting up an Amazon bookstore, which you can reach at www.robcuesta.com/books. I'll be totally open about this, I am an Amazon affiliate so I do get a percentage of any books you buy through the site. However please bear in mind that unless you can convince the population of, say, Tokyo to all buy a book on there I am unlikely to get rich as a book seller! The main benefit to me of setting up the store is that it lets me collect, in one place, an orderly catalogue of books that I have enjoyed reading, and make it easy for you to enjoy the same books. Using Amazon gives me - and you - the reassurance that your transactions are secure and will be professionally handled.
There are a handful of books in there at the moment that I have only skim-read over a latte, but which looked interesting/useful. By far the majority are books that are on my shelves, and which I refer to in my work. Over the coming months I will try to whittle down the 'looked interesting' entries. In the meantime if you want to ask any questions feel free to leave a comment.
The shop is divided into sections which look at each phase of the personal branding process, as well as general books on personal branding, career management and personal development. Some books, obviously, really fit in more than one category, but I have put them into a single category in which I think they best fit.
Even if you don't want to buy any more books, do take the opportunity to browse the shop and see what I have on my nightstand. If you would like to see any new categories of books covered then please do suggest them - if it's something I find interesting and which I do read then I'll put it up!
