Unless you've been under a rock for the last few years, you've no doubt heard that we live in the "new economy" and that unless we adapt our marketing to it, we're doomed. Which of course is true.
The only problem is, no-one seems too specific about what exactly this new economy is.
For some, it's the "information economy", supposedly created by the internet.
Except that as I show in my Six Figure Blueprint Intensive workshop, the internet didn't create the internet economy, it killed it.
Others talk about the "recommendation economy". We don't want information any more, we want concrete recommendations. They point to the explosion of review sites, Web 2.0 and social media aspects of sites like Amazon as proof.
But we've always relied on recommendations to support buying decisions. The internet just made it easier to get those recommendations.
But the whole point of an economy is that it refers to how you make money.
And if review sites and social media are free, that's hardly the basis for an economy.
So, if the new economy isn't the information economy, and it isn't the recommendation economy, what is it? What do people pay for?
Well I could be cruel, and say come to The Six Figure Blueprint Intensive workshop (Heathrow, UK 10-11 March 2012; Toronto, Canada in August) but I'm not that cruel (and there's a lot of content packed into the whole two days!).
We have entered the EXECUTION Economy.
Yes, people want your information. Yes, they want your recommendations. But that's not enough.
People are short of time, and short of attention.
So they want you to help them to implement your recommendations.
It's something a lot of gurus haven't caught up wth yet.
If you want to find out more I've already told you how :)
That's enough for today!
To your success.
